Here's how it helps you with that dream career:

  • Ongoing marketing support in the form of 2x weekly group calls where you can have real life conversations
  • A Facebook community of ambitious artists just like you to grow and thrive with

Artists Going Digital: Online Art Growth Strategies: Evergray Media

This program is a remarkable alternative to hiring a costly marketing agency or just taking an online course because it's a hybrid program that blends access and support from marketing experts with a top-notch online course, AND a like-minded community that so many artists desire.

What does the 6 week course look like?

Artists Going Digital: Online Art Growth Strategies: Evergray Media
Artists Going Digital: Online Art Growth Strategies: Evergray Media

This program is for individuals and organizations who care about growing their business online AND more importantly - making a huge artistic impact. All types of artists will benefit; painters, writers, artisans, musicians, filmmakers, poets, photographers, illustrators, sculptors, dancers, makeup artists, crafters, food artists, and creatives of all sorts who want a bigger online presence.

Artists Going Digital is for you if:

  • You want to transition from doing sporadic, in-person events to making consistent online income. This takes a solid foundation - Artists Going Digital shows you that foundation & then gives support to get you there

  • You're so done with relying on galleries, publishers, or gatekeepers of any kind

  • You suffer from Shiny Object Syndrome; you've tried multiple techniques and various social media platforms, but it's not all connecting and giving you the leverage you were hoping for. (Strategy and skill set connects it all, and Artists Going Digital lays this out.)

  • You're not quite ready to hire a business strategist/web designer/anyone with skills that you don't have. But instead of fumbling around researching and experimenting on your own for years to come, you want a direct roadmap so that you can get yourself to being a well-versed, modern-day creative entrepreneur as quickly as possible

  • You don't resonate with 'bro-marketing', and want to learn about business and marketing from someone that actually cares about art and understanding your creative process (but still studied business marketing)

And it's not for you if:

  • You're perfectly happy with keeping your art as a side gig that doesn't make consistent income. That's ok! Art is strictly therapeutic for some, and bringing business and money into mix obviously complicates things

  • If you're looking for a magic formula for major success that involves little work on your end. There isn't a magic formula - it takes lots of legwork. (Or lots of money hiring others to do the legwork.) The Artists Going Digital Program eliminates the distraction & gives you the blueprint and ongoing support to get there

  • You're not willing to pay the cost of this program to save yourself years worth of time spent figuring and testing this all out on your own. Time is crazy valuable. Investing in specialized programs like Artists Going Digital is a route that many successful business owners take to build their skill set within a small window of time

  • You're someone who starts, but then doesn't finish lots of projects. Paying for this program will be pointless if you just check it out, but then don't execute any of the steps

  • You don't believe in the power of the almighty internet

The Overview:

What really makes this program different?

There's lots of info online teaching you how to grow your business, but for artists specifically, there's only a few programs out there that help artists transition to online marketing. These instructors are typically professional artists with or without BFAs or MFAs that figured out the business part as they went along. But Artists Going Digital's instructor, Cameron Gray, is an artist that studied business marketing, not fine arts, so the emphasis in this program stays on high level business and digital marketing strategy. Basically, this program trains you in today's top business practices in the online marketing world without interfering with your sacred creation process.

Artists Going Digital is run by Team Evergray, who cares deeply about art & knows that its impact is ultimately more important than money. Making money is important too in business - it's just not the greatest mission for a lot of artists. Luckily, when we grow our art's reach to the point where it's impacting thousands or even millions, money follows with the right business models and practices in place. Evergray bases all modern-day business marketing strategy on this premise. That's really how we're different. We also like to keep things super casual and real so that you'll be excited instead of intimidated about BusinessLand. We'll never teach you to hard sell, and we'll always come from a place of translating powerful, technical business knowledge into helpful, actionable steps to genuinely grow your art career.

Some major research has been put into this program. Check some of it out here! :

A story from Cameron, the instructor:

In the beginnings of my business, I spent a ton of time trying to figure out things on my own - everything from choosing brand colors and how to market myself to how I should scale my business online. After about two years of researching, absorbing, testing, finding legitimately helpful sources, & weeding out the bs ones, I realized that my stubbornness to learn it all on my own had cost me precious time. And time is more than just money - it's exponentially more important and valuable than literally any other commodity, and I can't stand wasting it now. I wished that there was a straightforward roadmap with art and creativity in mind that I could've taken, but it just didn't exist. (Roadmaps existed, but the market was, and still is, saturated by a bunch of bros telling you about how easily they made a million dollars online.) And then after years of helping creative clients tackle the exact same problems, I realized - it was so obvious! - that a direct, time-saving roadmap to full-time art income is what artists need the most - and the Artists Going Digital Program was born.

Details on the course portion and how we can help you the most:

Module 1: Professional Branding & Graphics

In this module, you'll learn how to make your brand memorable and iconic through communicating your mission more clearly, understanding your place in the market, and getting to know the industry standards. Then you'll learn the options and tech behind various design programs, and put together your own branding palette and social media graphics via simple and fun templates.

Module 2: Wonderful World of Websites

We develop our web presence every day as we use social media and add to our websites - but that stuff is just the 'front end'. This module guides you through the 'back end' of having a professional and branded web presence, without overloading you with unnecessary info. We'll be going into website builder options and tech, and will organize your website for maximum impact.

Module 3: Engaging Email Marketing

Your email list is the only platform that you really own - no algorithms do the big-time dictating here. They're direct lines to your audience, where you can not only deliver tons of value, but you can get some of the most gratifying feedback and relationships here. This module walks you through the many different email marketing tools, how to best set up welcome sequences, how to create high-performing freebies to attract more audience, and understanding how to connect it all into a powerful marketing funnel.

Module 4: Pinterest Blastoff

Pinterest, unlike Instagram and Facebook, is a major search engine - which means that you won't have to scramble to post everyday to attract more audience members. (Whew!) In this module, you'll learn the tried and true method to growing your Pinterest to over 2 million monthly viewers - on AUTOPILOT. Learn the tech behind scheduling and organizing it all, how to understand and utilize the analytics, and schedule weeks of content in one sitting.

Module 5: Non-Scary Video Production

Video is crazy crucial in online business, and 100% worth the time and effort. Rivaled only by in-person meetings, (which is going to limit you), video content is the most potent way to build your audience relationships and ultimately drive your sales. There's a million different ways to use video - this module not only shows you how, but how to do it as efficiently as possible. We'll be going over your software options, equipment, step-by-step video editing, and how it all ties into your marketing funnel.

Module 6: Systems: Major Time-Leveraging

Most artist businesses are not set up to be scalable, making them limited in how many clients they can take on at once simply due to time constraints - this unfortunately limits income too. But this module shows you how to truly be scalable so that you can free up time to work on what you really want to do, without dropping the ball on business activities. We cover business system options, productivity models, and defining your monthly content and outreach goals. Then, we'll be setting up 2 business systems that will propel you lightyears beyond your comrades.

How will the course modules be organized?

Each Module has 3 lessons organized like this:

Lesson 1) Learning the industry standard & best practice + what's good, and what's not-so-good

Lesson 2) Getting into and understanding the tech

Lesson 3) Applying it all to real life by creating deliverables/real-world assets to use for your business

What will the 6 week course part be like?

  • Once you enroll, you'll immediately be able to login & see all of the lessons of the course laid out in its entirety. You can work through the lessons at your own pace, but the suggested timeline is 1 module each week for 6 weeks.
  • We'll do 2 group calls every week, where Cameron answers any questions and we do overall troubleshooting + bonus workshops. (Students can request trainings too!) You'll get a link to attend all of the live Zoom calls, (exact times are Tuesdays at 1pm EST and Thursdays at 7pm EST), where you can hop in and ask questions to get some real time answers. If you can't make the live calls - that's ok! The replays will be available in the course portal.
  • In addition to the calls, you'll spend the rest of your time (about 10-15 hours a week total if you do the suggested 1 module a week), working through the coursework videos and exercises to really solidify what you learned & integrate it into your skillset.
  • Ongoing throughout the entire program will be the student Facebook group, where we can all share our weekly wins, ask questions, and get the honest community support & feedback most of are looking for. Team Evergray will frequently be in there helping out & going live.
  • At the end of each module, you'll be applying your knowledge right away by creating brand assets that you'll use forever.

What makes the Artists Going Digital instructor qualified?

Cameron Gray (who founded EvergrayDigitalMedia.com in 2016), is a digital artist and web designer that studied Business Marketing, and has found tremendous success on Pinterest. She manages Team Evergray, who has consulted directly with artists, small businesses, and giant clients alike to help grow their businesses online. With a rare mix of business acumen, web strategy, technical knowledge, and a love for art, (and artists), Cameron has helped countless artists rise in the online business world via consulting services, video and in-person workshops, downloadable resources, and the Artists Going Digital Program.

After years of working with artists and noticing the same patterns with both common problems and solutions that worked, Cameron has distilled all of that instruction and support into the Artists Going Digital Program. She wanted to ensure not only that clients learned marketing skills at a faster pace, but she wanted to stay accessible to clients while also adding the aspect of community to create way more transformation than anyone could ever get from 1-on-1 client work.

Having direct weekly access to someone like Cameron who can guide you through it all is something that you won't be able to get by compiling breadcrumbs that you found on the internet and comparing notes with someone who hasn't built a solid online business foundation. She's immensely helpful in the sales department too, because she's somehow racked up 12 years of formal sales experience by the ripe old age of 32. (But she won't teach you to sell the sleazy way.)

FAQs:

  • How much time do I need to set aside? You should set aside about 10-15 hours a week for 6 weeks to complete the course. Tack on a few more hours if all of this is all super new to you. If you don't have 10-15 hours a week, no worries - just set aside whatever time you can and go at your own pace.
  • How will I be supported? You'll learn and be supported in many different ways: via the video and written lessons in the course portal, via the 2x weekly group calls, and via the student community in the Facebook group. Team Evergray is present almost every single day in the student Facebook group, and is available via hands-on help inside of live calls.
  • What if I get stuck? No worries - we get you UN-STUCK. To get a question answered on the next call, you’ll submit an online form in advance with your question (preferably one day at least before the call), or you can also ask live during the call, and we'll work through it in real time. You can also screenshare & show your exact problem, and we'll figure it out click-by-click.
  • What if I can't make the live calls? If you can't make the calls live, you'll be able to watch every single replay in the course portal.
  • How long will I have access to the course, the calls, and the Facebook group? You'll always have FOREVER access to the course, the student Facebook group, and the weekly group calls. The reason that we offer lifetime access is because Evergray cares about the business development and transformation of all students, and business is a long-game. We want to make sure that students have the support and community that they need to continue evolving after the course curriculum is completed.
  • What if I want deep dive, 1-on-1 help? You'll have access to Cameron for real-time convos on the 2x weekly group calls for Artists Going Digital, so you really shouldn't need further help at all. But if you ever - for some reason - need deep dive, 1-on-1 help from Cameron herself, we offer 50% discounts to Artists Going Digital students for personalized strategy sessions where we can get as in depth as you want. But honestly, if you're nervous about a group learning environment and want to keep things more private, just remember - we're all going through so many of the same issues. It helps others to hear us work through your problems, just like it'll help you to hear us work through other artists' problems. The way that this program is set up creates a community-driven learning environment that's the fastest and most efficient way for almost all of us to learn & hold each other accountable.
  • Do you do refunds? Yes - within 15 days of purchasing. If for any reason you need one (it definitely happens), send an email over to Cameron@EvergrayDigitalMedia.com explaining why, and we'll get you a refund if we can't fix the issue. Credit card refunds take up to 7-10 business days to process, and Paypal refunds will be issued to your PayPal account immediately.
  • What if it takes longer than 6 weeks for me to get through the coursework? That's fine! 6 weeks to get through the course is the suggested timeline, but some students have more time than others. As long as you keep making progress, you're doing great!
  • What kind of materials do I need? Just a smartphone/computer, the internet, and some good ol' perseverance! But online businesses have normal monthly software costs (like an email marketing platform, monthly website cost, etc.), so we're going to recommend some of those. All of those suggestions cost between $5 - $50 a month though, and free options are going to be suggested too, so don't stress.
  • What will I have at the end of all of this? The program and Team Evergray will literally be here for you forever, (as long as Team Evergray is alive and well), so there's technically no 'end'. But when you finish up the course - if you've kept up with the coursework and weekly calls - you'll have an extremely solid digital foundation + PLUS a thriving community full of artists and seasoned marketers supporting you - forever!
